after the v shitty pharmaco paper without breakfast, went back to room to sleep , and went home w/o dinner. bro wanted to have supper.and i thought i should get some food to eat. so off we sneaked off with dad’s car and decided to go to the shops along bukit timah road for supper. muahha. reason for the place? coz there’s gd food. and there’s a carpark without the need to do parallel parking. anywae, we walked down the row of shops and we saw Hong Kong Cafe. Bro wanted to have mixed veg rice actually, but i wanted HK cafe. so off we went.
i think it is an authentic HK cafe? i think lar. coz the boss spoke with the typical HK – eng accent. and very friendly.haha. talk abt HK reminds me of those monster houses that HK ppl built in Vancouver that we learnt in GEK .
Bro’s food came first. beef noodles. haha he said its like maggie mee. ahah quite surprised my bro ordered beef noodles. coz our family dun eat beef. and its just weird that he ordered beef noodles the first thing he did. haha obviously can tell we seldom eat out tgr on our own without our parents.
wanted to like order a few dishes den can share with bro so that we can try more food. but his frst response was ,”NO!” i asked why n he said ,”no means no.” so i asked,”then you and ur gf dun share food arh?” to which he replied yes. dots. can share with gf cannot share with me.haha but ok lar. he let me try his food though. hahah.
we ordered dumping soup too to share. very niceeee! hahaha the dumping in particular. the soup is nice. but after a while it feels like there’s too much msg inside.haha
and yea. my fish fillet baked rice. not too bad. its different from the usual baked rice that you eat in pastamania or those western shop. and the fact that it comes in this metal container which my house has feels so, haha not baked rice-ish. yup. not a very big serving i think. but can’t finish.hahaha. its a layer of cheese, followed by fish with onion lining the rim of the bowl. i think if there’s more cheese it’d be nicer. i LOVE cheese.
and so we had a good time eating and chatting. hahaha. and me foot the bills for the night. nice sis k!
